Who are we

Escoleta Pequeño Da Vinci, located in Parc Bit in Palma de Mallorca, is a preschool for children from 0 to 3 years. Our school is inspired by the Montessori method and has an international focus, as it is home to children from different parts of the world. For this reason, we offer preschool education in Spanish, English, Catalan and Swedish (for those children whose first language is Swedish).

We offer a safe and nurturing learning environment where each child develops according to their own needs and interests, and where each child is the protagonist of their own learning in a loving and respectful environment.

Our history

Escoleta Pequeño Da Vinci starts its journey in Palma de Mallorca in September 2023. It was founded by Carla Caviedes, Sofia Caviedes and Marta Caviedes, the three of us are early childhood educators and Montessori teachers, with a background of more than 20 years of preschool education in Stockholm, Sweden, which brings a global vision to our work as educators.

Inspired by the Montessori philosophy, we believe in children's natural desire for learning and their ability to work on their own. At Pequeño Da Vinci we provide a place where these skills can be developed to their fullest potential. Our aim is to foster a lifelong love of knowledge and to encourage independence. At Pequeño Da Vinci, we know that a child who is given the opportunity to discover and achieve is a child who will enjoy a happy childhood and grow up to be a multi-talented adult, equipped for life.

Our education is also based on holistic thinking, linking the child's physical, intellectual and emotional needs. For this reason, we offer a healthy and varied diet, a natural environment free from the noise of the city, and large spaces in which the child can find the essential nutrients of early childhood. In this way, Pequeño Da Vinci aims to contribute to the best possible development of body and mind.

Where to find us

Our escoleta is a breath of fresh air, nestled in nature, just 10 minutes drive from Palma. Outside of the city, we benefit from the peace and quiet of nature and stunning views of the Tramuntana mountains and local vineyards.

Our beautiful outdoor garden space that is protected from the elements by mature trees allows your little one to explore and play outside all year around. Whilst the surrounding nature trails allow us to stretch their little legs and enjoy the countryside around us.

Located near the University, on Parc Bit, with plenty of parking right outside our door that makes drop offs and pick ups quick, easy and utterly kid friendly! Our gated escoleta is tranquil, calm and safe, everything your little ones need to thrive. Come and see for yourself, we would love to show you around.
